Solid hotel, stayed here last time in 2018 and the hotel is still great. The "old" rooms are now slightly dated, but perfectly OK, clean and comfortable, and we had a note in the room that an "intensive renovation program of rooms" is under way. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have a very good size, especially for Japanese/Tokyo standards. The rooms (I guess all?) have a Nespresso coffee machine. The location is really convenient, there is usually no shortage of taxis (exception: New Years eve and New Years day as well as probably other holidays, but that is to be expected) and the Ginza Line metro Station Tameike-Sanno (No. G-06) is right outside the hotel. The Ginza line is one of the most important Metro lines (and probably the only one you really need as tourist) as it goes to Shibuya or Ginza as well as to Shimbashi and all the way to Asakusa, with many interchange options in between. Around the hotel you have various convenience stores (2 family marts, 1 Natural Lawson, 1 "normal" Lawson a bit further and 1 24h small supermarket) in walking distance (2-5 mins) as well as a dutour coffee place right next to the hotel. The staff, especially front desk and concierge, speaks very good English. As we had some issues (not related to the hotel) we needed the concierge frequently and the personnel there was always very helpful, professional and went out of their way to assist us. We also had some interactions with the bell captain for taxis etc. and they were also helpful and especially the younger personnel spoke good English. The hotel restaurants during our stay were fully geared towards New Year with special menus but we did not try them. In the room we found he information that on 31.12. evening you can order the noodle dish "toshi koshi soba", which are believed to bring good luck for the new year, for a reasonable price to your room. The noodles were good and came with a tasty broth and some nice tempura.

Staying at ANA InterContinental Tokyo exceeded expectations in terms of comfort, service, and attention to detail. From the very first moment, the warm welcome from the staff instills a sense of trust and calm. The hotel enjoys a prime location in a safe, upscale area in central Tokyo, making it a perfect base for exploring the city’s main attractions. The surroundings are rich with fine restaurants and cafes, and public transport is conveniently accessible. The rooms are impressively spacious, especially by Tokyo standards, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Everything is organized with precision, and the amenities are well-prepared to offer the highest level of comfort. Special commendation is due to Mr. Youssef, the hotel’s Lobby Ambassador (the Egyptian staff). His exceptional professionalism, genuine warmth, and unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction distinguish him as one of the hotel’s most valuable assets. Mr. Youssef consistently goes above and beyond in assisting guests, offering personalized support with remarkable cultural sensitivity and linguistic fluency. His ability to cater to the needs of Arab visitors, as well as international guests, especially English-speaking travelers, reflects a rare level of hospitality excellence. His presence in the hotel lobby not only enhances the guest experience but also embodies the true spirit of world-class service that defines ANA InterContinental Tokyo. One of the most commendable aspects is the hotel’s commitment to accommodating Arab guests. It provides helpful information on nearby mosques and halal-friendly restaurants, reflecting genuine cultural awareness and hospitality.

The room was beautiful, modern, and extremely clean, with stunning views of Tokyo Tower and the nearby skyscrapers. The Club Lounge was a major highlight — calm atmosphere, great selection, and everything was complimentary throughout the day. The bath products from THANN were also excellent — I actually plan to purchase them for home use. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The team outside the hotel, who helped with taxis and luggage, left a particularly great impression. The location is also very convenient, with a metro station just 2 minutes away. And of course, as expected in Japan, I felt completely safe at all times. Although pretty expensive, the Teppanyaki restaurant on the 36th floor is definitely worth visiting — great food, great service, and an amazing view.

Loved our stay here: 1. Great location 2. Access to the executive lounge was a great plus point with 2 kids who could access the food at several times a day 3. The room amenities , cleanliness and overall vibe was very nice. I believe the hotel was recently renovated which makes it really lovely to stay at somewhere that feels brand new. 4. There is so much staff around the property and everyone is always so helpful. 5. Best part was at the hotel door steps was a bus that takes you straight to Narita Airport (with one or two stops in between) - no need to carry luggage or take taxi to train station. 6. In the room they provided specific night gowns that were so pretty and traditional and i would have loved to be able to buy one to keep as a souvenir from my stay in Tokyo.

The conference that I need to attend was at this hotel, so it made sense to stay here, as it only takes a couple of minutes to go to my room during breaks. It is next to Tameike Sanno station, and it's a few stops to Tokyo Station, Ginza, Fish market. And there are always a few taxis downstairs waiting. You can book the airport bus to pick you up from the hotel to go to the airport, as long as your travel times are within the hotel bus operating hours. Staff extremely helpful. This is one of the more expensive hotels, but for work related travels (tax deductible), not a issue. For privately self funded trips, I probably will choose a cheaper hotel though.
